Having issued a Decision on the issuance of a Certificate for the provision of air navigation services and having issued the Certificate for the provision of air navigation services, the Bosnia and Herzegovina Directorate of Civil Aviation (BHDCA) has completed the certification process of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Air Navigation Services Agency (BHANSA).
The Certificate was issued on 20 April 2017 after the BHANSA had fulfilled the relevant requirements of the EU SES (Single European Sky) regulation as transposed by the BHDCA into the BIH legislation by means of the various by-laws it had adopted earlier.

Please be informed that the Bosnia and Herzegovina Directorate of Civil Aviation Decision on the amount of charges to be paid by aircraft operators per transported departing passenger and per ton of goods/cargo transported from Airports in Bosnia and Herzegovina was published in the BiH Official Gazette No. 4/17 on 20/01/2017.

The BHDCA’s Director General Mr Djordje Ratkovica and his associates met with Slovenia Control’s CEO Mr Franc Zeljko Zupanic at the premises of the BHDCA’s Regional office in Sarajevo, where they discussed current topics in the field of civil aviation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, and in the region.
Considering that Bosnia and Herzegovina and Slovenia are members of the Functional Airspace Block of Central Europe, the meeting discussed different models of cooperation within the Functional block, with a focus on legal aspects of cooperation between the countries.

Pan-European Coordinator at EUROCONTROL visited on Wednesday, 22nd February 2017, the BiH Directorate of Civil Aviation, where he talked with Deputy Director General and Head of Air Navigation and Aerodromes Division Marinko Šimunović and his associates on perspectives for development of ATM in Europe through cooperation of civil aviation authorities and providers of air navigation services.
