A constitutional session of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Air Traffic Management Committee was held on 24/10/2016 in Sarajevo, which discussed a proposed Rules of Procedure for the Committee, as well as the Committee's method of operation, in order to define operational activities and obligations in the forthcoming period.

The Bosnia and Herzegovina Air Traffic Management Committee was established by the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina at its 70th session, held on 24 August 2016. The Committee was established with the goal of achieving strategic management of the Bosnia and Herzegovina’s airspace, and for the preparation of proposals significant for the management of the BIH airspace.

By decision of the Council of Ministers of BIH, Marinko Šimunović (a representative for the BIH Ministry of Communications and Transport), was appointed as Chairman, while the members of the Committee are: Enes Mujezinović (representing the BHDCA), Vlado Jurić (representing the Bosnia and Herzegovina Air Navigation Services Agency - BHANSA), and Vlado Gvozden and Jasmin Katica (representing the Ministry of Defence of Bosnia and Herzegovina).
