Representatives of the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) conducted a standardisation audit of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Directorate of Civil Aviation (BHDCA) in the area of aircraft operations on the 20th and 21st of October 2015. The audit was a part of planned EASA inspection teams activities that are performed in all European Union countries and in countries that have signed working arrangements with EASA.

The objective of the audit was to determine and assess compliance with, application and implementation of the relevant European regulations and standards in the legislation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the area of aircraft operations, and in particular of the work and procedures of the Aircraft Operations Section, as well as of the organisation, competences and functioning of the BHDCA.
