Responsibilities of the Airports Section

Monitoring international standards and recommended practice in the area of aerodromes and their implementation in the national legislation,

Drafting by-laws in the area of aerodromes,

Drafting by-laws in the area of the aerodrome safety management system (SMS),
-
Conducting the procedure for the issuance of the Aerodrome Certificate for the provision of domestic and international transport,
-
Implementing international standards and recommended practice for the verification and approval of arrival and departure procedures at Bosnia and Herzegovina aerodromes, and of rules of the air on air routes and free-flight areas,
-
Establishing requirements for flight planning and flight authorisation, and processing of flight authorisation requests from airlines operating to and from Bosnia and Herzegovina.
