The Civil Aviation Directorate of the Republic of Serbia hosted a meeting on September 23-24 in Belgrade with Nicolas Rallo, Regional Director for the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) “European and North Atlantic” Office, along with directors general of the civil aviation authorities of the countries that are signatories to the Memorandum of Understanding on Mutual Cooperation in Aviation.
In addition to discussing efforts to enhance mutual cooperation on issues of general interest in the implementation of the Memorandum, the meeting also addressed other current topics in civil aviation and the improvement of civil aviation authority operations. Additionally, during the meeting in Belgrade, the participants visited the Serbia and Montenegro Air Traffic Services Agency (SMATSA), where they were hosted by CEO Predrag Jovanović. The meeting was also attended by the director of Air Serbia, as well as representatives from the Nikola Tesla Airport and the Aviation Academy.
Besides the host delegation led by Director Mirjana Čizmarov, the meeting included the BHDCA delegation led by Director General Zorislav Ivanović, along with delegations from the Civil Aviation Agency of Montenegro, led by Director Ivan Šćekić, and from North Macedonia, led by Director General Dragi Stojanovski.
