On 19-20 September 2023, a 2-day workshop was organised by the BHDCA, with the support of EUROCONTROL, at the BHDCA's premises in Banja Luka, on the topic “Support for the implementation of regulations in the field of remotely piloted aircraft / drones and for airspace assessment”.
The workshop was held as part of EUROCONTROL’s support to Bosnia and Herzegovina in the activities relating to a further harmonisation of Bosnia and Herzegovina with EU regulations on remotely piloted aircraft systems / unmanned aircraft systems (RPAS/UAS), i.e. support to their implementation and best practices. The goal of the project is to increase the expertise of the staff in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which will result in further improvement of overall security and increase joint action and cooperation between all actors in the implementation of regulations related to RPAS/UAS.
The workshop was conducted by experts from EUROCONTROL, and, in addition to representatives of the BHDCA, the workshop was also attended by representatives of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Air Navigation Services Agency (BHANSA).
