Banja Luka Aerodrome Certificate Extended

Having conducted an operational inspection and having analysed the relevant documentation, the Bosnia and Herzegovina Directorate of Civil Aviation has issued the Banja Luka Airport with an Aerodrome Certificate for Public Use for an indefinite period of time.
In the course of the certification process, an operational inspection was conducted, including a thorough evaluation of the relevant documents and of all the airport’s services and infrastructure, and it was ascertained that the airport operator fulfilled the prescribed requirements for public use operations and that it demonstrated competence to conduct safe operations in accordance with the Specification of the Requirements for Aerodrome Operations.

All Foreigners Holding Negative PCR Test Allowed Entrance to BIH

The Council of Ministers took a resolution on additional conditions for foreigners’ entering to BIH, according to which BIH borders are open for all foreign citizens, under conditions of holding a negative coronavirus test not older than 48 hours.
The foreigners fulfilling the conditions for entering BIH, set forth by the Law on Foreigners, may enter Bosnia and Herzegovina after having presented a negative PSCR test to virus SARS-COV-2, not older than 48 hours as at the moment of entering Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The resolution took effect immediately, and will be applied at border crossings starting from Saturday, September 12, 2020 at 6.00 hrs.

"Search 20" exercise held

Based on the Search and Rescue Cooperation Agreement between the BHDCA and the Ministry of Defence of BiH, an exercise named "Search 20" was held on Wednesday, September 9, 2020, with the aim of checking the readiness of on-duty helicopter units of the Armed Forces of BiH and of rescue staff of the Rescue Coordination Centre in case of search and rescue in the event of an air accident.
Two helicopters from the 1st and 2nd Helicopter Squadron located in Mahovljani and Rajlovac participated in the exercise, equipped with crews, rescuers and the necessary equipment. On this occasion, search and rescue service procedures in the event of an air accident were checked.
Rulebook on the Requirements for Drone Operations enters into force

The BHDCA hereby informs the interested public, institutions, organisations, operators, associations and individuals that the Rulebook on the Requirements for Drone Operations, published in the Official Gazette of BIH 51/20 of 18 August 2020, has entered into force. The Rulebook shall apply upon the expiry of 30 days from the day of entry into force, i.e. from September 25, 2020.
This Rulebook prescribes the general, technical and operational requirements for operators of model aircraft and remote-controlled aircraft or remote-controlled aircraft systems (drones) for flight operation purposes.
