ANS regulations enter into force

The BHDCA hereby informs the interested public, aviation institutions, organisations, operators, associations and individuals that the following regulations have entered into force:

- Rulebook on the BIH NOTAM Office (NOF)

- Rulebook on the amendments to the Rulebook on the quality of aeronatical data and aeronautical information.

The aforementioned regulations have been published in the Official Gazette of BIH No 9/18 of 6 February 2018.

BHDCA Acting Director General appointed

Pursuant to Article 55a paragraph (2) of the Law on Administration (Official Gazette of BIH No 32/02, 102/09 and 72/17), the Minister of Communications and Transport of BIH Mr. Ismir Jusko has issued a decision appointing Mr. Željko Travar as acting Director General of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Directorate of Civil Aviation starting from the 1 February 2018.

The previous Director General Mr. Đorđe Ratkovica was relieved of his duty as he met the prescribed conditions for retirement, while the Deputies Director General have continued exercising their duties as heads of the BHDCA Divisions in accordance with the Aviation Law of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Rulebook on the Internal Organisation, and the associated authorisations.

Rulebook laying down technical requirements and administrative procedures related to civil aviation aircrew - entry into force

BHDCA hereby informs the interested public, aviation institutions, organisations, operators, associations and individuals that the Rulebook laying down technical requirements and administrative procedures related to civil aviation aircrew was published in the Official Gazette of BiH No: 4/18 of 19th January 2018.

By this Rulebook the provisions of the following EU documents are transposed into BiH legislation: Commission Regulations (EU) No: 1178/2011, 290/2012, 70/2014, 245/2014, 2015/445 and 2016/539.

This Regulation came into force on the eighth day after its publication in the 'Official Gazette of BiH' and shall be applied upon expiry of six months of its entry into force, i.e. as of 27th July 2018.

As of the date when this Rulebook is applied, the Rulebook on Flight Crews shall cease to have effect ('Official Gazette of BiH' No: 67/16).
